Sunstar Insurance Group Names Daniel Romero as Chief Acquisition Officer

On November 17, 2025, Sunstar Insurance Group welcomed Daniel Romero as Chief Acquisition Officer. Daniel Romero will lead all M&A efforts across Sunstar’s expanding footprint, which includes 23 hub agencies and more than 80 offices in eight states. He will focus on sourcing, structuring, and integrating new agency partners to support long-term growth.

“Daniel’s leadership and experience will be key as we continue to expand,” said Casey Bowlin, Chief Executive Officer. “His addition strengthens our ability to pursue thoughtful, relationship-driven acquisitions.”

Romero brings over 15 years of M&A experience, most recently as Head of Corporate Development at Evertree Insurance and previously as Vice President of M&A at Hub International.
