Dan Mahurin

Dan Mahurin is the President and CEO of Bovard Insurance Group, bringing more than a decade of executive leadership and insurance industry expertise to the role. Appointed CEO in 2022, Dan has been instrumental in shaping the company’s strategic direction, driving growth, and promoting a customer-first approach. His leadership builds on a strong foundation, including eight years as Vice President from 2014 to 2022.

Dan is recognized for his ability to foster innovation, develop high-performing teams, and lead with integrity. His leadership style emphasizes operational excellence and long-term value for policyholders, employees, and business partners.

A former collegiate athlete, Dan earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Central Missouri, where he excelled both academically and as a basketball player. He later completed a master’s degree at William Woods University, strengthening his expertise in organizational leadership and business strategy.
