JD Brown

JD joined Petra RMS as Executive Vice President in 2018 and was promoted to President in 2022. His highly consultative approach has driven Petra’s strategic growth. A 2003 graduate of the University of Alabama, JD brings 14 years of experience as a property casualty producer and sales leadership to his role. Leading Petra in total annualized production since 2018, he was named by the Birmingham Business Journal in 2020 as one of the forty business leaders under forty to lead Birmingham’s future economic growth. JD was promoted to CEO in the last quarter of 2023.
