On July 1, 2024, Sunstar Insurance Group acquired Renasant Insurance from Renasant Bank, rebranding it as Sunstar Insurance Services. With 8 locations and 64 employees in Mississippi, the agency offers personal and commercial property and casualty coverage, as well as individual and group life, health, and ancillary products. The agency’s history dates back to the late 1800s, and it boasts strong customer and employee retention, with most employees having 10+ years of service. Sunstar Insurance Services is our group’s first agency in Mississippi.
