Terry Young

Terry has been in the insurance business for 40 years. He started out selling life insurance for a direct writer for Metropolitan Insurance Company over the years ago. Terry has purchased seven independent insurance agencies, created two premium finance companies, started a third-party administration company, specializing in Worker’s Compensation, founded the largest Worker’s Comp PPO in the state of Alabama with over 13,000 medical providers and acquired the second largest healthcare PPO in Alabama with over 7500 providers. Terry has served on multiple boards with various organizations throughout his career both on a state and a national level. He spent over 10 years in the alternative risk market creating captives, serving on captive boards and participating in multiple captive domicile’s both here in the US and internationally. Terry’s core business is self-insurance for all types of risk and Worker’s Compensation claims administration. He presently has 1500+ corporate clients, contracts and relationships with 15 different trade associations and has developed niches in the public entity sector, construction sector, automotive, industry, healthcare, industry, and state governments. He has also received multiple certifications in the insurance and risk management industry.

Terry is married to his wife Rene, and has two daughters, Lauren and Lindsey and three grandchildren.
